Easter 2021 Treat Boxes

Spring has sprung, so bring on all of the fresh fruits!

As promised, April’s treat boxes did not disappoint between all of the bright colors and flavors for Easter. We wanted to expand beyond just offering macarons in our treat boxes, so what better way to do that than a pre-order for Easter! Between the pastels, Easter eggs, and general springtime joy, I’m pretty content with what we turned out.

The biggest thing with this offering was making sure that the box was balanced when it came to flavors. We wanted a little something for everyone, whether you like chocolate, fruit, tart, sweet, or a combination. So, we started with some classics. The pastel rosette cupcakes were our traditional vanilla on vanilla. Just the right amount of sweet for people who prefer less sugar with their dessert. Plus, who doesn’t love a multicolored rosette, right?

With the cupcakes being vanilla, we of course had to add some chocolate into these boxes. It is Easter after all, so who doesn’t love having chocolate eggs and treats? Our boxes came with our chocolate on chocolate cakesicles decorated with adorable Easter sprinkles on various shades of pastels. These little shots of sugar are extremely decadent, so chocolate lovers everywhere will rejoice. For some more sprinkles of the traditional Easter candy variety, we added in some awesome Hershey Eggs and some handmade large chocolate eggs. Fun fact: We hid a ton of smaller eggs under those larger eggs as a surprise for kiddos when they opened their boxes ;)

Our last addition to this treat box was of course our macarons! Didn’t think we would forget our main treat, did you? This is where we wanted to add some fresh fruit jams to our boxes to really complete the variety. Each box came with six macarons. The pink macarons were Dark Chocolate Raspberry which included our dark chocolate ganache and a fresh raspberry jam center. They are such a good balance of bitter, sweet, tart that are just perfect. The yellow macarons were Lemon Blueberry, which just happens to be one of my favorite flavors that we make. I’m a lemon lover at heart, so this lemon buttercream surrounding our fresh blueberry jam is so tart and refreshing in a dessert that it will quickly become your favorite too.

Overall, for our first variety treat box we are very happy with how these turned out. The goal was to capture springtime in a box and bring it to our awesome customers. To the folks who continue to support our small adventure, we can’t thank you enough. Be on the lookout for our next variety offering for Mother’s Day!

Until next time!
