BOO! Scary Treats For You To Eat

Did our new treat boxes scare you with how good they look?

We couldn’t resist jumping on this trend for Halloween. Boo Boxes are adorable and the perfect little gifts for your favorite monsters. With new treats come new designs and it was so fun to make these. For the boo boxes, we wanted to offer some of our newest treats as well as some of our classics. We settled on including designs for the chocolate covered s’mores, cakesicles, and cocoa bombs.

It’s Halloween after all, we have to stick to a chocolate theme. Plus, our Halloweens range from freezing and rain to pleasant fall weather here in Kentucky. We had to cover all of our bases with the cocoa bombs incase we hit a cold snap for our trick-or-treaters. The cakesicles and cocoa bombs were offered in any of our seasonal flavors and you could choose any of our designs for your boo box to personalize it! Plus, we really wanted to use our new cakesicle coffins and ghosts molds.

I knew I wanted to do some cute monsters and some vivid chocolate colors, so we set to work on picking what designs we were going to offer for our Halloween treats. For the cocoa bombs, we had blood splatter bats, jack-o-lanterns, bubbling cauldrons, and mummies. The bat molds for the chocolate decor were perfect and I was obsessed with using them for these. It was Kyle’s idea to add the blood splatter on that bomb and it could not have turned out any better.

For the chocolate covered s’mores, I wanted to do something similar to the bombs with the same chocolate colors, but still wanted them to be slightly different. So, we settled on mummies, Frankenstein’s monster, ghosties, and bats. The little ghost candies with the black chocolate and green sprinkles was my favorite design for these treats.

Of course we made sure to keep our usual monster cookies and macarons as options for this season, but it was nice to expand our Halloween portfolio this year.
