This birthday party was WILD!

We have some of the best customers out there and we love it when they come to us with new and fun things to try. This customer was having a safari theme for their daughter’s third birthday. Get this, it was “Young, Wild, and Three”. How cute right? So we couldn’t disappoint when it came to her animal macarons and leopard print birthday cake.

For the animal macs, we made four adorable animals for the shells: zebra, monkeys, tigers, and giraffes. Our customer wanted some traditional kid flavors and chose birthday cake and brownie batter for her fillings. These are great for folks of all ages and overall just really solid party flavors. It gives chocolate and vanilla lovers something to go for on the dessert table.

For the cake, we got to have a ton of fun decorating this one. The flavor was a vanilla cake with a vanilla buttercream and a yummy strawberry jam filling. We make all of our jams fresh to order and you can definitely tell the difference when you are snacking on our desserts. Such a great balance of fruity and sweet to go with the macaron flavors as well! The leopard spots were hand-painted by yours truly with some almond extract and gold edible glitter. Had to make it top-notch for this adorable little girl to be queen of the jungle on her special day.
